Background
Valentina Sunda was born in 1984 in Cagliari where she lived until the achievement of the High School Diploma. The great passion for research pushed her to continue her studies: she moved to Bologna and she obtained from the Alma Mater Studiorum-University of Bologna the B.Sc. with honors in Biotechnology and the M.Sc. in Medical Biotechnology. She was involved in research projects on prostate cancer and breast cancer at the Oncology Research Laboratories of "Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute" and the Laboratory of Pathology and Experimental Oncology of the "Policlinico Sant'Orsola-Malpighi", where she gained expertise in genetics, cellular and molecular biology. She received the Professional Qualification of Biologist at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. She is member of the National Order of Biologists (Professional Register, Section A, registration n° 67115). Since September 2010, she is working at Lipinutragen Srl where she has acquired knowledge and skills in lipidomic, nutrition and nutraceuticals. Currently, she is Director of the Laboratory of Lipidomic and responsible of diagnostic and research activities.
